The development of drama in German opera
Morozová, Tamara ; HAJÓSSYOVÁ, Magdaléna (advisor) ; VOTAVOVÁ, Yvona (referee)
The main idea of this thesis is to describe the development of german romantic opera focusing on the significant evolution of its drama, in the musical, textual and finally the interpretative aspects. A selection from their artworks (with regard to the main topic of thesis) was difficult and highly subjective. They have created a lot of outstanding feminine roles, so I chose five heroines that have served me as individual milestones along the way for almost a century. They have provided me with a suitable structure to map artistic maturation and the development of new, original and completely unique operatic form.

Richard Wagner and Organ
Bártek, Michael ; ČERNÝ, Pavel (advisor) ; TŮMA, Jaroslav (referee)
The Czech organist Michael Bártek presents the thesis Richard Wagner and the organ. Penetration of the Work of the Genius from Bayreuth into the Music for Organ as a graduate master thesis in studies on musical faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. This thesis concerns itself with the relationship between Richard Wagner and the organ, a relation which is, despite no specific composition from the maestro for organ, surprisingly rich, and which seems thus far unexplored. Considering the impending bicentenary of the composer (and the 130th death anniversary), the theme deserves to be elaborated on. The author reviews the direct relationship of Wagner and the organ, with his influences on composers for organ, as with, for example, the issue of transcription, at first more general, later more focused on Wagner.
Life and Works of Robert Schumann, taking into Account with his song Creation
Erlebachová, Zdeňka ; MÁROVÁ, Libuše (advisor) ; KAUPOVÁ, Helena (referee)
Songs by Robert Schumann clearly form part of the repertoire of most of the singers. I study this theme as well, and I would like to take this work in life circumstances that inspired the creation of Schumann songs, lyrics and music processing of vocal lines and piano accompaniment. Robert Schumann was very difficult person, he was sensitive and melancholy man, who express all his feelings from personal life by music. The vast majority of the song was created in his happiest time of life. It was the time of happy union of two artists - Robert Schumann, composer, editor and writer and Clara Wieck, outstanding piano virtuos and musical composer. For these reasons, I devote much attention to their relationship.
